We build decks, covered porches, pergolas, gazebos, carports, and dog runs with the fastening and the flashing detailed for the conditions, not the catalog photo. Covered is almost always worth the extra cost in this part of the state, and we will tell you honestly when it is not.
Repairs count too. If your deck is structurally sound but the boards and railings are done, that is a much smaller job than a rebuild and we will say so.
